I don’t want you to be discouraged – you are learning to play guitar! You’ve come a long way. Sometimes we have to keep moving and return to a song later down the road.

WHAT WE DID THIS LESSON:
- Reviewed “Jesus, Jesus”
THIS WEEK:
1) Work on “Jesus, Jesus”
- Your strumming was really sloppy today. You need to focus on keeping the right strum pattern. We’re using the down/down-up pattern for all the chords except the G and Em at the beginning of the chorus. On those chords you just play down/down then you do the down-up/down-up string mute.
OTHER:
- Practice, practice, practice! We basically had the same lesson today that we did last week because you didn’t have significant practice time this week. Please take time to get good practice in before your next lesson. You can play this song if you simply practice it before we get together again. You have all the skills necessary to do this!

Sorry about that… you’re exactly right, I got his lesson and Wheeler’s mixed up. That’s a drawback to not having my computer right in front of me – I have to try and remember what we did in lesson after I get home. I’ll be bringing my laptop from now on once it is fixed (it’s needing repair).

Morgan learned I’ll fly away not Jingle Bells. You think you got his page and another childs mixed up?
Sorry about that… you’re exactly right, I got his lesson and Wheeler’s mixed up. That’s a drawback to not having my computer right in front of me – I have to try and remember what we did in lesson after I get home. I’ll be bringing my laptop from now on once it is fixed (it’s needing repair).
