- Practice the walk-up on the E string… it’s the 2nd and 3rd frets

- Remember that the chord progression moves to the D on the last two down strokes of the strum pattern… you actually move between the chords before the strum pattern changes
- The link in the lesson from last week says it’s for “Savin’ Me,” but it’s really for “Cartoon Song”

- Worked on the “rock” formations for Em, G and Am
THIS WEEK:
1) Practice the verse progression for “Wonderwall”
- Strum: down/down/down-up/up-down-down

- The chord forms we’re using are slight variations on the ones in the chord chart. Use ours. I need to create some diagrams for these chords and put them online. Check back later for those.
- Remember that the G plays on the last two down strokes of the strum pattern after the Em. The Am does the same after the D.
OTHER:
- I will be out of town next week, so we won’t have lesson. There’s no need to reschedule… there are several months with five Thursdays in them this year, so we’ll make up the missed day later without rescheduling.

- We’ve been working on the verse. Today we started working on the bridge. Try to play between the verse and the bridge.
OTHER:
- You will be my only student in the early intermediate class for a few weeks. Garin isn’t taking right now because of baseball, but I forsee some students moving up from my beginner class into this class in April.

You will have two girls with you in Early Intermediate Guitar next week… Anna Byrd and Summer Lindsey. They graduated from Beginner Guitar this week.
